In 1951, Xiamen Engineering Machinery Factory was founded.
In 1964, the first loader of China was trial-manufactured successfully in Xiamen Engineering Machinery Factory.
In 1973, Xiamen Engineering Machinery Factory trail manufactured the first ZL50 articulated wheel loader of China and passed the national authentication.
In 1976, Xiamen Engineering Machinery Factory trail manufactured the first ZL40 articulated wheel loader of China and passed the national authentication.
In 1978, ZL40 wheel loader was awarded the achievement award in the National Science and Technology Conference.
In 1980, ZLD40 wheel underground loader was awarded the third prize for science and technology achievement by the former 1st Ministry of Mechanical Industry.
In 1983, TL180 wheel bulldozer was awarded the excellent product prize by the National Economic and Trade Commission.
Since 1992, “Xiagong” wheel loader has been specified by the Polar Region Exploration Office of state Oceanic Bureau as the only loader brand for South Pole construction.
In 1993, Development Research Center of State Council and National Bureau of Statistics cognized Xiamen Engineering Machinery Factory as the top 500 industrial enterprises of People’s Republic of China.
In 1993, Xiamen Engineering Machinery Factory was reformed to Xiamen Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd, and the stock was listed in Shanghai Securities Exchange in next year.
In 1994, Xiagong loader and bulldozer were selected as the National Famous Brand.
In 1995, Xiagong machine was awarded the special prize for engineering machine model and appearance quality in Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES), and Xiagong wheel loader was awarded the title of Fujian Famous Product by Fujian Provincial Government. In the same year, the Xiagong Group cored by Xiamen Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd was founded.
In 1996, Xiagong ZL40, ZL50 wheel loader was awarded the Stable Product Quality Certificate of Fujian Province.
In 1997, Ministry of Machine Industry awarded “Xiagong Machinery” as the famous product of China Mechanical Industry.
In 1998, Xiagong Machine passed the ISO9001 quality system certification.
In 1999, Xiagong machinery ZL40D, ZL50C（including model II）passed the national authentication. In the same year, they were awarded “product satisfied by user”, “service satisfied by user” and “product quality satisfied by the user in the appraisal for consecutive 5 times （1987-2002）” by the user committee and construction equipment committee of China Quality Association.
In 2000, Xiagong Machine trademark was awarded the title of Fujian Famous Trademark.
In 2000, Fujian Enterprise Appraisal Center and Fujian Enterprise Appraisal Association cognized Xiagong as the top 300 industrial enterprises, top 300 industrial enterprises with best economic benefit, top 300 tax payment enterprises and top 300 enterprises with best image of Fujian province.
From 2001 to 2003, the sales revenue, sales quantity and market share of Xiagong loader occupied the 1st in the industry for consecutive 3 years.
In 2002, Xiagong Machinery was honored the China Credit Brand for High Quality and Reliable Service and China Honest Unit in Quality and Service by China Technical Supervision and Information Association.
In 2002, it was honored as “product quality satisfied by the user in the appraisal for consecutive 5 times（1987-2002）” by the user committee and construction equipment committee of China Association of Quality.
In 2002, China Quality Authentication Standard Association cognized Xiagong loader and wheel bulldozer as the quality credit product authenticated by the national authority.
On 26 Oct 2003, it realized the historical breakthrough in the industry: over 10000 loaders were produced and sold.
In 2003, China Product Quality Complaint Disposal Net cognized Xiamen Engineering Machine as the national quality and service satisfactory enterprise.
In 2003, China Products Promotion & Evaluation Center cognized Xiagong wheel loader as the national quality credit product.
In March 2004, it finished the move and reconstruction favorably and became the largest construction machinery manufacturing base in China after the new Xiagong Industrial Park was founded.
In 2004, China Mechanical Industry Quality Administration Association awarded Xiagong Machine the advanced quality and efficient enterprise of national mechanical industry and cognized Xiagong wheel loader as the product satisfied by user of the national mechanical industry.
In 2004, Xiagong Machinery was honored as China Famous Brand.
In March 2005, it created the good sales performance of 2804 machines in a single month, and created the historical monthly sales record of the industry.
In 2005, Xiagong was honored as China Famous Trademark.
